Mix this bottled concentrate of Ilford Rapid Fixer 1:1 (50/50) with water for your working solution in a simple developing tray. New55 PN was designed specifically for Ilford Rapid Fixer, eliminating the need to get the old hard-to-find sodium sulfite. Only this strong solution of Ilford Rapid Fixer is capable of efficiently polymerizing the developer reagent goo and fixing the negative.
The 1-Liter bottled concentrate makes 2 Liters of working solution -- enough to fix multiple boxes worth of New55 PN negatives. We have successfully fixed up to 15 negatives in a single batch of working solution, so you can expect this bottle to go a long way. Change solution each session, or when there's too much floating goo.
